JJ STERRY

JJ Sterry is a London-based singer/songwriter, fusing 'insightful word-play and an experimental folk style' (Earmilk). JJ records on a converted lightship on the River Thames with long-time foil, George Ackerley.

He toured extensively as lead singer of British post punk icons Gang Of Four in the last few years, singing on all their most recent releases. JJ's solo work is influenced by John Martyn, Bert Jansch and the prominent figures of the late 60's English folk revival, via transatlantic artists such as Kurt Vile and Townes Van Zandt.

New single 'Another Man' is out now, followed by an EP in mid-'24, alongside solo and full band live shows across the UK.

'Poignant, warming... the perfect addition to an indie coming-of-age film' (Louder Than War)
